Offered for Auction or Buy It Now is an ancient Zeugitana, Carthage, Electrum Stater (320-270 B.C.)ANACS EF 40 — a beautiful & rare coin in extremely fine condition. Minted just before the great Punic War (264 BC) with Rome!
Gold Electrum Stater, 7.42 g., Carthage, c.310-290 B.C.
Obv: Head of Tanit facing left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing earring with pendants and necklace.
Rev:
Horse standing right, exergual line, two dots under horse.
