vTg Ardalt Shell-White Milk Glass Trinket Box Jar Flowers Dresden Spegetti Lace

Description

Offered is this lovely and intricate shell-white milk-glass trinket jar or jewelry box. The lid of the box in covered with hand-modeled flowers in the Dresden style. The flowers include roses and carnations, along with other blossoms. Filling the spaces between the flowers is Dresden Spegetti Lace.
A hinged metal collar connects the top to the bottom. The metal collar has an embossed design and a clasp in front.
This trinket box is marked Ardalt, Japan.
It measures about 4 1/2" diameter. It stands about 3 1/4" tall to the top of the tallest rose.
This jewelry box is in very good condition. No chips, cracks or other damage. We believe it dates to the 1950s or ‘60s.
