Vintage Porcelain Beagle Puppy Dog Figural Collectable Dog Hound Japan MCM

Offering this darling vintage Mid Century Modern porcelain figurine of a beagle/hound dog puppy.  This little guy looks like he may have gotten into to a little trouble with his sad eyes.  The figural is 4 inches tall and sits upon a black high gloss pedestal or base.  The total height of the piece is 6 inches tall and 4 1/2  inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide.  The puppy is highly detailed and has been nicely painted in the past.  This piece was probably made in Japan but I could not identify the manufacturer.  There are multiple minor scratches present over the entire surface of this piece consistent with age and usage.  There are no chips, loss of porcelain finish, or repairs noted.  This piece continues to show well and I consider it to be in good condition.
