Vintage Ceramic Beagle or Dachshund Planter Desk Caddy Mail or Key Holder
DIMENSIONS:  7 1/2" long by 6" tall at highest point
CONDITION:  Excellent.  No chips or cracks that I could see.  There is a small indent on the back of the tail, which seems like a natural part of the ceramic firing.  It is in great shape.

This vintage ceramic piece is from my mom's house.  She had it since the 1960s or 1970s I believe.  She used it on her desk to hold mail in the back and paperclips in the front basket.  Other sellers have listed similar items as planters, so I guess it's that too!  I thought it was a Beagle, but my wife said it looks more like a Dachshund.  You decide!  Anyway, it's really cute and a nice collectors item.
