Sikyon Dove ancient Greek coins were minted in Sikyon, a Greek city located 11 miles Northwest of Corinth in northern Peloponnese. Sikyon was a famous Greek center for the arts, particularly painting and sculpture.  Sikyon has been credited with originating tragedy in theater, painting in its present form, and the use of multiple instruments in an orchestral arrangement. She is perhaps best known now for her coinage, the Sikyon doves that bear the main emblem of the city of Sikyon.
