HONEYWELL PENTAX SP1000 Vintage 35mm SLR Camera w/SMC Takumar 55mm 1:2 Lens

Hello!  This was part of an estate of a gentleman who was a war correspondent / photographic journalist, for the US Armed Forces.
The interior is pretty clean.  I suspect that the exterior could benefit from an additional deep cleaning, but as evidenced in the photos, it presents well.   I have not tested it w film, but the shutter and film advance seem to work as intended. I see no fungus or etching in the lens.  The leather strap is still supple and clean; appears to be original.  The battery case cover turns, but I couldn't get it off.  If you'll look at the provided photos, you'll observe 2 different positions of the cap.  I was able to move it a quarter-turn.  I am not selling this as a 'working camera'.
