BEAGLE  PILLOW
My husband was driving around a  town square in small Alabama town in the 1980s when I glanced over and saw this pillow in the window of an antique shop. "Stop!" I screamed. Thankfully, Harve recovered without wrecking the car or having a heart attack. I think I jumped out before he had finished parking and ran into the shop.
I think this is a stunning Beagle headstudy which immediately reminded me of the great Best in Show winning Beagle of the early 1970s, Ch. King's Creek Triple Threat. It's got that same look that was seen in Ch. Uno, the Beagle who won Best in Show at Westminster in 2008. Truly impressive.
The center square with the Beagle is printed on the fabric (as opposed to being done in cross-stitch or something) and was then finished with the greenish gray backing.
