    You are looking at a previously owned porcelain collector plate, unknown year, "Why Not?" (plate no. C6019) limited edition by artist Simon Mendez for the Danbury Mint from their "Beagles" collection, copyright MBI ~ "Not for Food Use. May Poison Food." It features a handsome and inquisitive young tri-colored Beagle standing outdoors, it has a 24kt gold gilt edge. This beautiful plate is in excellent pre-owned condition ~ no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, no scratches, no gold loss, no crazing, no repairs. It measures 8 1/8" in diameter x 1" tall and weighs 11 ounces before packaging for shipping.
