Note: This coin version depicts the usual eagle to the left and a palm branch crossing the eagle, along with a monogram KYΠΡ. This monogram is in Greek language and it either implies the initials of the Greek word 'ΚΥΠΡΟΥ' meaning Cypress and referring to the attribution of the island of Cypress or perhaps the Greek word 'ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑ' the initials of the famous Queen-Goddess, Cleopatra!
