    Description

Here is an interesting Roman provincial bronze from Cyrenaica & Crete or possibly Gortyna according to the NGC. Struck c. 67 BC on a 23mm bronze flan weighing 12.9 gm. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma facing right which is a bit unusual for a provincial bronze. Rev. Bee. Slabbed and graded 5/5 3/5 by the NGC as shown. A beautiful coin with a slightly uncertain origin.
