Beautiful Victorian mourning necklace. In very good condition. Shows normal wear for age. No breaks, may have normal scufffs/light scratches. Clasp shows some paint loss, and a tiny rust spot. Easy to cover up, hard to see unless right under the eye. Very nice carved varying chain links. Pendant is a small thinner cross, and is hand carved as well (see images). Usually these are large and chuncky. This may be gutta percha, most likely vulcanite. However, the piece has a simialr smell, but faint. Has original hook type clasp that falls to the side. This is a rare chain link size. Long enough to be doubled. Approx. 21.5" in length to cross pendant end. This has not been cleaned and may need a light cleaning. See images for measurements.
