This auction is for a fantastic vintage covered dish! Made by Akro Agate in the early 1940's, this is a pink milk glass Scotty Dog powder box covered dish. It features a scotty dog as the handle of the lid. There are 4 other scotty dogs embossed around the lid and 4 scotty dogs on the base. It measures 6 1/2" tall. It has "MADE IN THE U.S. OF AMERICA" embossed on the bottom. It is in overall good condition, but there is a chip to the dog's left ear. There is also a tiny chip to the rim of the base and another along the scalloped edge of the lid. This is a must have piece for your pink milk glass dish or scotty dog collection!
